William Aquin Carew (born October 23, 1922) is a Canadian prelate of the Roman Catholic Church.
William Aquin Carew was born in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador and ordained a priest on June 15, 1947. Carew was appointed titular bishop of the Telde as well as Apostolic Nuncio of Burundi and Rwanda on November 27, 1969; ordained a bishop on January 6, 1970. Carew was next appointed Apostolic Pro-Nuncio to Cyprus and Apostolic Delegate to Jerusalem and Palestineon May 10, 1974. Carew was then appointed Apostolic Pro-Nuncio to Japan on August 30, 1983 and would retire from the post on November 11, 1997.
